Congratulations on a spectacular picture of Hale-Bopp, but how could lights from Hoodoo ski resort cast a soft light on the snowy slopes of Mt Hood? The two are quite far appart?
Even though this exposure is an Oregon High-country shot, I recall seeing Hale-Bopp from the US.Naval weapons desert range near Campo, Calif that Fall of 1997. Here, the viewer does see what seems-to-be a more Heavenly spectrum. WE see More Purple/Blue-ish Hues.
Just to Think that NASA sciencist’s believe space-craft can come along side these Comets and gather components of rocket fuel and zip back onward to yonder places.
