The Ashland Grizzlies beat the Thurston Colts 4-3 in the 5A OSAA State Baseball Championship game Saturday in Volcanoes Staduim in Keizer. Thurston pitcher Darrell Hunter, who went the distance, struck out 5 and had one earned run in his loss to Ashland Saturday.
