At the Milwaukie Daze festival Malia Chan, 6, watches from the sidelines as children line up to spit cherry pits as far as they can. Members of the community participated in games from a water balloon toss to cherry pit spitting after the parade in downtown Milwaukie. Snow cone were handed free to people who participated in the games.
